Darlene Clark
Darlene sees every person as capable of growth and higher levels of accomplishment. As a “potentiator” and President of Value Partners, Darlene encourages individuals to be authentic and guides them towards professional fulfillment. She helps people identify, focus and build their strengths which enhances their value as individuals and team contributors who drive organizational excellence. With over 18 years experience as an educator and Human Resources business partner with organizations ranging from single-site to multi-site locations across the U. S. and around the world, she understands both the common and unique challenges facing employees and employers.
Since 2000, Darlene has been consulting, coaching, facilitating and speaking with clients across the country. Her work has included:
Facilitating leadership development programs for senior and
middle management
Coaching and/or career development of staff at all levels of the
organization
Integrating the Hartman Value Profile process into the organization’s
current employee selection and development processes
Developing four Hartman Value Profile databases
Darlene has consulted for many years with Goodwill Industries of Houston. She is a member of their Business Advisory Council and Board of Trustees providing business related staff training, mentoring students in their business classes, providing support for their contracts division and chairing their annual fundraising Gala. Darlene’s daughter Abby was born with Down Syndrome. Darlene participates in new parent information and coaching programs. She also speaks to healthcare providers regarding the needs of parents and children with special needs. She and Abby facilitate discussions regarding opportunities for people with disabilities. Darlene volunteers at New Danville/TexasNew Community providing Hartman Value Profiles for staff and clients. She currently serves on the Henderson County United Way Board. Related to her work and experience using the Hartman Value Profile, Darlene is an Officer on the Robert S. Hartman Institute Board of Directors.

Lynn Clark
Drafted shortly after completing college, Lynn served four years on active duty, including enlisted duty in Korea and a tour in Vietnam as an Infantry Platoon Leader and Company Commander. Lynn ultimately retired from the Army Reserves as a Lieutenant Colonel. Following his active duty military service Lynn earned Master Degrees in both Social Work and Religious Education from the University of Houston and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary respectively.
While completing his graduate programs Lynn joined the Memorial Hospital System in Houston in1974 as a Coordinator of Discharge Planning. Following seven years as a clinical social worker he accepted a new position, Quality of Work Life Coordinator, created in Human Resources when Productivity became a major focus for American business. He managed several functions within HR over the next quarter-century, ultimately serving as its System Executive for Employee Relations. He chose to finish his 34-year career in healthcare by serving for three years as Memorial Hermann’s Healthcare System's Executive Director of The Spiritual Leadership Institute, promoting value-centered leadership that advances personal authenticity, professional fulfillment and organizational excellence.
Joining Darlene in her consulting business has enabled Lynn to combine his experience in both the military and healthcare with her experience and talents to help individuals, teams and organizations further develop their potential through value-centered living and leadership.
Abby VanDuivendyk
Abby has Down syndrome, but that hasn’t hindered her accomplishments. In addition to being Value Partners’ Office Manager, Abby works and volunteers in a number of settings such as hospital Respiratory Therapy and Food Services departments, the Memorial Hermann/HBU Wellness Center and her local United Way and the Athens, TX Chamber of Commerce. She also serves on Goodwill Industries’ Board of Trustees. She absolutely loves working and volunteering. Some of her duties include, participating in presentations, preparing documents on her computer, copying, filing, shredding, assembling mail-outs and interacting with people.
Abby is shown right presenting to professionals from around the world at the Robert S. Hartman Institute in Knoxville. She and Darlene shared the work they have done using the pictorial version of the Hartman Value Profile. Their focus was on using this unique tool to help level the employment field for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
Since earning her high school diploma, Abby has taken several college courses. She is also energetic and athletic, having earned dozens of medals in a variety of Special Olympics events such as Bowling, Softball, Basketball, Golf, Swimming and Track & Field.
Abby’s strength of character and her caring, compassionate side serve her well in moving forward toward the goals she has set and has still yet to discover. Abby’s presence is calming…she enjoys serving people and meeting their needs. Abby has a special gift of being able to unconditionally accept and love everyone as unique individuals. Helping other people and adding a bit of sunshine to their lives with her smile and genuine caring brings Abby personal satisfaction. These intrinsic strengths are genuine expressions of who she is as a person.
